Chapter 2: The Old Song
In Chapter One of Bendy And The Ink Machine: Moving Pictures, we started the episodic series of BATIM.
Our hero Henry continues on his quest trying to find out what is going on in his old workshop.

Bendy and the Ink Machine Chapter 2 Walkthrough
First Objective: Find a New Exit
Henry wakes up with a headache wondering what happened.
As the tip says, use the Axe to clear the path to exit the ritual room.
going downstairs until Henry reaches the Utility Shaft 9 entrance sign.
There Henry will see the quote “HE WILL SET US FREE” written on the wall.
Besides, you’ll find there Bendy cardboard, candles, cans of Bacon Soup, plates and a banjo.
Turn to the right in the room to find a tape-recorded by Sammy.
In this tape, he talks about Bendy as if he was a god, and that he will save him.
Next Henry walks in a hall flooded with ink and sees a person passing through carrying a Bendy cardboard cutout.
Henry says “Hello! Excuse me! Can you help me! Hello?” but the person ignores him and gone leaving the cardboard behind.
On a shelf in the room, you’ll be able to find many cans of Bacon soups and a hidden switch (next).
Move to the right corner of the room to unlock the next objective.
Redirect Power to the Gate
Henry will find a closed gate with three switches he needs to turn on.
The first one is next to the “Train Troubles” poster,
The second is to the right of the second pentagram, and the last one is hidden behind several Bacon Soup cans on the shelf.
After they are all switched, return to the gate to unlock the next objective.
Raise the Gate
At the gate, hit the lever next to it to activate it.
The gate will open, and a new objective as well.
Find a New Exit
Henry enters the gate, break the planks blocking the entrance and walks into the Music Department.
The place is dark, but there is another tape-recorded in the voice of Sammy Lawrence, complaining about the ink machine is leaking.
Sammy saying that Joey Drew installed a pump to drain it periodically with a switch installed in his office.
Drain the Stairwell
Henry should turn the power switch on the wall to restore the energy to the Music Department room.
Going down the stairs, creatures will raise from the ink and the fun begins!
These creatures will try to kill Henry, but hitting them once with an Axe is enough to destroy them.
A gramophone will play music and a gate at the right side of the room will open.
This gate will lead Henry to Sammy’s Office, which entrance is also flooded by ink and a locked closet at the right side of the room.
Henry will find the pump switch, but that’s not enough to stop ink the flowing.
Listening to the tape-recorded in the voice of Wally Franks in front of the office to continue next.
Unlock Wally’s Closet
The tip says to retrace Wally’s steps.
In the tape, Wally said that he lost his closet’s keys and that they may fall into one of the garbage cans around the place.
Walking around you will find a recording studio with chairs, microphones, music instruments and a tape-recorded by Norman Polk on the upstairs room.
Norman gives Henry a hint: It tells Henry that every day a strange thing occurred when Sammy Lawrence arrived.
The band was recording the songs, but Sammy shut down the whole thing and told everyone to wait in the hall.
Then Sammy turned on the projector and ran downstairs to play some instruments.
There is also a tape-recorded by Susie tells you that she loves working for Joey and that she really feels a connection with Alice Angel.
Eventually, the keys are in the trash bin not far from the recording studio.
Find Sammy’s Sanctuary
Tip: learn Sammy’s favorite song
Inside the closet, there are some candles, four cans of Bacon Soup and a tape-recorded by Sammy.
In the record, Sammy says that he has a sanctuary, just like Joey does.
To enter this sanctuary you need to know “favorite song.
The song is a random combination of the five instruments located in the Recording Studio.
Henry returns to the Recording Studio and turns on the projector, he goes downstairs and plays with the instruments tools before the projector turns off.
This right combination with the Banjo, drum and bass fiddle will open the gate to Sammy’s sanctuary and to the next objective.
Enter the sanctuary
Entering the sanctuary to activate the valve also unlock the next objective.
Find the Second Valve
To find the second valve, Henry should leave the sanctuary and exit the hall and head to the Infirmary.
On the way, several ink monsters will try to attack him and he will notice a mysterious masked person watching him from the Balcony.
Heading to the infirmary that was blocked by ink before Henry will see the second valve is missing.
He needs to pull the”utility access” lever this will open the Utility Shaft 9 pass to the flooded sewers.
Walking in the inky sewers he will find a voice record of Jack Fain who says he loves the quiet down there but not the stink.
Henry than encounters the figure of Swollen Jack holding the valve, in a room with a small lift with a crate and two machines with levers attached to them.
But when he approaches him Swollen Jack ducks back down into the ink.
Trying to catch Swollen Jack is impossible, but pushing the “up” lever on the left machine, rise the lift.
Then Henry must walk towards Swollen Jack to get him trapped under the lift.
Now pushing the “down” lever on the right machine drops the lift on top of Swollen Jack, killing him.
Henry picks up the valve, take it back to the pipe to place and turn it.
Return to Sammy’s Office
After activating the second valve, Henry goes back to Sammy’s Office and open the door that was blocked with ink.
And after opening the office’s door, Henry should activate the pump control.
Take the Stairs
On the way out from the office, while trying to exit the place, Henry tackles Sammy who’s knocking him in the head and ties him.
It appears the Sammy is the mysterious masked person from before.
Sammy than talking about making a sacrifice to Ink Bendy, so he can be free from his inky body.
Sammy then exits the room and starts with the summoning ritual while he sings a song about sheep through some speakers.
But Ink Bendy is not pleased with Sammy ritual and starts hitting him.
At that time, Henry breaks the ropes and stands up to follow the next objective.
Escape Bendy
Henry grabs the Axe in his attempts to get out and kill the ink monsters standing in his way.
Then, enter the hall in front of Henry and break the wooden planks blocking the way.
Breaking the last plank will cause the Axe to break, and then Henry has to enter a room completely flooded by ink.
This will cause Ink Bendy to appear from the pond and he will start to chase Henry.
Henry has to take the path to the right running through a Maze as quick as possible to find the door at the end of the hall and then enter the vault.
After successfully escaping from Ink Bendy the door will block
Entering the door in front of Henry will cause a Bacon Soup to roll out.
Henry then will ask who’s there, and Boris will come out of the corner, revealing that he’s alive.
Henry will be surprised and this is how the chapter ends.
